COMPLAINANT WAS CHEWING ON BAND-AID. <br />PLEASE CALL BACK WITH FINDINGS. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />have the to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of and potential <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />Complaint investigation at Mountain Mike's Pizza. Met with owner at facility. Discussed the alleged complaint above. The <br />owner stated that he was aware of the complaint because he received the same complaint on the same day that EHD <br />received it (January 4, 2022). Owner reported that complainant purchased a food on 12-30-2021 via Slice, an online pizza <br />ordering and delivery service. Complainant alleged that they had two slices of food left on January 4, 2022 and found a <br />band-aid in it. Complainant asked the owner to provide a free pizza or they will call in a complaint. Owner told complainant <br />they cannot have free pizza since they called in five days after their purchase. The owner allowed me to inspect the facility. No <br />violations were identified today in in the facility's food storage, preparation, or packaging. Owner stated that only management <br />handles the cutting/chopping of vegetables at the facility to protect food handlers against injuries. I did not observe any of the <br />employeesin the facility to be wearing a band-aid or with visible injuries. <br />Inspection Report was emailed to the owner. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the official inspection report <br />instead obtaining a signature. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
