12958/12970 E Jahant Road Project No. 2022-00037 P a g e 12 <br />the mass balance equation are nitrate -N, whose maximum drinking water contaminant level is <br />10 mg/L. <br />1.1 Description of Site <br />The property is located at 12958/12970 E Jahant Road (APN: 007-270-22), Acampo, County of San <br />Joaquin, California. The parcel is 4.59 acres, with three single-family homes, each with their own <br />onsite septic system, currently developed on the site. There is one domestic well located on the <br />parcel. The property is located in a rural residential neighborhood, with E Jahant Road adjacent north <br />and Highway 99 approximately 5.75 miles west of the site. The general vicinity consists of rural <br />residential lots and agricultural use. <br />The elevation at the site, according to a United States Geological Survey2, is approximately 115 feet <br />above mean sea level (msl). The site is relatively flat, with topography in the area grading gently to <br />the west. <br />According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer web site,3 the subject property is zoned AL -5. <br />Location maps of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix A. <br />1.2 Proposed Development <br />The project proposes to place a three-bedroom, two -bath, single family manufactured home with an <br />associated onsite septic system. There is currently three single-family homes, each with a separate <br />septic system associated; the parcel has one domestic well. <br />2.0 PAST, PRESENT AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES <br />Past and current use consists of residential use. Proposed future use is a three-bedroom, <br />two -bathroom single family residence with associated separate septic system. The proposed home <br />would utilize the existing domestic well. <br />3.0 GEOLOGIC AND SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION <br />3.1 Chemical and Physical Soil Properties <br />The site is depicted on the Geologic Map of the Bellota quadrangle4 and falls within the middle unit <br />of the Riverbank Formation (Plate 3, Appendix A) herein called Qr2.
