WHEN SHE GOT TO WORK, SHE STARTED EATING THE EGGS AND DISCOVERED A <br />CHOPPED UP ADULT COCKROACH IN HER EGGS SHE INSPECTED SOME OF THE DARK PIECES, BECAUSE SHE <br />SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED NO PEPPER ON THE EGGS. ON INSPECTION, SHE FOUND THE HARD SHELL PIECES <br />OF THE COCKROACH. —"COMPLAINANT REQUESTS CALL BACK AFTER INSPECTION. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: Manager stated the scrambled eggs possibly got residual chopped jalapeno peppers from an order prior <br />to complainant's order and the dish was probably not wiped down sufficiently. Ensure scrambled egg prep bowls are being <br />washed and sanitized before reusing. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized. Met with manager and discussed complaint. Manager was aware of the <br />complaint and had photos of the scrambled eggs brought in by the complainant. The chopped pieces were actually jalapeno <br />peppers chopped up into the egg. Manager brought out the jalapenos and compared the photo chopped pieces with the actual <br />jalapenos. The colors matched.
