California Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region <br /> 23 February 2022 <br /> Page 4 <br /> WELL SAMPLING <br /> Following well development,groundwater samples will be collected from extraction and injection wells <br /> and submitted to a California-certified analytical laboratory for analysis of the following: <br /> • Volatile organic compounds using United States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA) <br /> Method 8260B. <br /> • Alkalinity using Standard Method (SM) 2320B. <br /> • Title 22 metals and major cations(calcium, magnesium,sodium, potassium, iron, aluminum, and <br /> manganese) using USEPA Method 6010. <br /> • Major anions (nitrate, nitrite, sulfate, chloride) using USEPA Method 300.0. <br /> • Uranium using USEPA Method 908.0. <br /> • Total dissolved solids using SM 2540C. <br /> • Other water quality parameters (temperature, pH, specific conductance,oxidation-reduction <br /> potential, and turbidity)will be measured in the field during sampling activities. <br /> Schedule and Reporting <br /> It is anticipated that the extraction and injection wells will be installed in the first half of 2022, <br /> contingent upon timely approval of permits and subject to driller availability.The field methods, <br /> construction details, boring and well completion logs, and sampling results will be presented in the <br /> completion report for the IRA. <br /> Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or comments. <br /> Sincerely yours, <br /> HALEY&ALDRICH, INC. <br /> Jennifer Galvin, PG Miao Zhang, PE <br /> Technical Specialist NAL C fo!
