SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: 12:11 pm <br />Time Out: 12:35 pm <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: YUME JAPANESE CUISINE Date: 09/13/2022 <br />Address: 2401 W TURNER RD, LODI 95242 <br />Owner/Operator: Telephone: (209) 224-5169 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00055207 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />THERE ARE HORDES OF MAGGOTS AND FLIES THAT ARE COMING DIRECTLY FROM THESE LOCATIONS. <br />RODENT DROPPING AND MAGGOTS IN THE GARBAGE AREAS INT HE BACK OF THE RESTAURANTS. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />I spoke to the operator of the restaurant who was aware of the compliant prior to this investigation. <br />I observed the trash enclosure with the operator. <br />The dumpster lid for the trash is closed and area is maintained. <br />I spoke to the operator about taking trash out from the facility to the dumpster. <br />There is a common hallway that the facilities share that leads to the outside dumpster area. <br />I let the operator know that the trash bags should not be dragged to the dumpster, as they may cause spillage and a nuisance <br />if there are flies and maggots etc <br />Per operator there is pest control that services the facility and dumpster is picked up once a week. <br />I let operator know that the hallway area needs to be maintained as well. <br />I observed a few items in the hallway that the operator said will be removed today. <br />I did not observe "hoards of maggots and flies coming directly from this location" <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
