S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> u j ;"� i Y AMENDED <br /> 10/12/2022 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> JEFFERSON ESD-JEFFERSON SCHOOL 7500 LINNE RD,TRACY October 11, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of used fuel was observed on site with a February 2022 accumulation start date <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of used antifreeze&water was observed on site without an accumulation start date <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of waste aerosols was observed on site without an accumulation start date <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of used fuel was observed on site with a February 2022 accumulation start date(provide <br /> month, day and year on label) <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of used antifreeze&water was observed on site without an accumulation start date <br /> -one black 55-gallon drum of waste aerosols was observed on site without an accumulation start date <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection (10/11/2022).
