DEPARTMEM'T OF MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
2500 NAVY DRIVE
STOCKTON, CA 95206-1 191
(209) 944-6750
February 20, 1993
Eric ,D .' Horton
Sol-d`Waste .Coordinator
Forward, Inca
P.O. Box 6336
Stockton, CA 95206.
This is in reference to your request of January 21, 1993, to
discharge pond water from Forward Landfill to the City of
Stockton Regional Wastewater Control Facility (RWCF).
After review of your laboratory data, it appears that there
are no pollutants of concern in the pond. Therefore, you may
deliver, via a permitted septic hauler, a total of 300,000
gallons in 18,000 gallon increments per day to the RWCF.
If the need arises because of continuing excessive wet
weather, Forward may request an increase in the daily
discharge. Please remember this is unpolluted water; and if
you can reduce the total discharge, please do so. If the
nature of the pond water changes, a full characterization
will be required.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call
the Environmental Control section.
c
MORRIS L.
