("Forward') is requesting permission to discharge an additional 300,000 gallons of pond
water from our landfill. Forward is proposing this discharge as a safety precaution. In the event of
continuing wet weather, Forward would prefer to have the capacity to store additional water for
subsequent evaporation in it's holding ponds.
Currently, Forward has approximately four (4) feet of freeboard in its evaporation basin (minimum
freeboard T). And we feel with an additional discharge of 300,000 gallons to your facility, our
evaporation basin could hold "normal" rainfall that we might experience over the next two months.
I am submitting the results of analysis Forward commissioned for your review. The tests conducted were
identical to those conducted prior to our latest discharge. As you can see, the water is unpolluted, and
would be compatible with other waste waters discharged at your facility.
If you have any questions please telephone me at (209) 466-4482.
Sincerely,
FORWARD, INC.
L --: - -P 14 ---, - ---
Eric D.
