Hazelton Ave.
Stockton CA 95205
(via emai/)
RE: PA-2200207 (SA, PreApp)— Proposed truck parking facility at 4206 State Route 99
E Frontage Rd (APNs '179-172-54, -55)
Dear Giuseppe:
City staff has reviewed the subject early consultation pre-application referral. The subject
site is separated from the Stockton city limits by SR99 and is located within the City's
sphere-of-influence. The Envision Stockton 2040 General Plan designates the subject site
as Residential Estates, and the proposed truck parking land use is inconsistent with this
General Plan land use designation.
Should the County take action to approve the project application, [he subsequent
establishment of a truck parking business as described in the referral would harm the City
by restricting opportunities to implement its General Plan. The City of Stockton opposes
the proposed project, and by this letter formally requests that the Site Approval application
be denied.
We look forward to the subsequent refs rral(s) for this project, and any other available
opportunities to participate in the review process. If you would like to discuss this matter,
please contact me at bradlev.wallCa7 stocktonca.cov or 209.937.8'195. Thank you.
-r-r
Brad Wall, anning Manager
City of Stockton Community Development Department
