Oliphant <br />Chevron Environmental Management Company <br />6001 Bollinger Canyon Road <br />San Ramon, CA 94583 <br />FIELDWORK AND SOIL INVESTIGATION REPORT EXTENSION REQUEST, <br />CHEVRON FORMER TRACY PUMP STATION, 1428 WEST GRANTLINE ROAD, <br />TRACY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, GEOTRACKER CASE NO. SI -0607710-173011 <br />On 30 July 2021, Arcadis U.S., Inc. (Arcadis) submitted the Fieldwork and Soil <br />Investigation Report Extension Request (Letter) to Central Valley Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board staff (Staff) on your behalf for the subject site (Site). In a letter <br />dated 22 March 2021, Staff requested that Arcadis submit a proposed schedule to <br />secure access agreements and implement the Additional Soil Investigation Work Plan <br />(Work Plan) dated 29 April 2014. Arcadis submitted a response letter on 23 April 2021 <br />proposing to implement the Work Plan by 30 July 2021 and submit the soil investigation <br />report by 1 October 2021 assuming Site access would be granted by the property <br />owner, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). Staff concurred with the proposed schedule and <br />due dates in a letter dated 19 May 2021. <br />Arcadis submitted an extension request letter dated 1 July 2021, proposing to <br />implement the Work Plan by 30 August 2021 and submit the soil investigation report by <br />15 October 2021. Arcadis notified Staff in an email dated 20 July 2021 that they would <br />be re -submitting the extension request proposing new due dates due to Site access <br />delays. <br />Arcadis conducted a Site walk to evaluate conditions on 6 July 2021. Based on the Site <br />walk and access delays, Arcadis has proposed the following schedule: <br />By 4 October 2021, implement the Work Plan <br />a By 19 November 2021, submit a soil investigation report describing the findings <br />and recommendations. <br />Staff concurs with the proposed due dates for the Work Plan and investigation report <br />listed above. If Arcadis is not able meet the proposed due dates, a letter needs to be <br />submitted proposing a new time schedule for implementing the Work Plan and <br />submitting the investigation report. <br />KARL E.
