Geospte&
consultants
1.3.1 Groundwater Monitoring Results for August 2021
Groundwater samples collected from the shallow and deep wells were analyzed for total
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH; C28-C40), TPH-g, TPH as diesel (TPH-d), BTEX, and
naphthalene. The analytical results for each well sampled are shown in Figures 4 and 5. The
analytical data were screened using the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control
Board's (SFBRWQCB) Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs) for Direct Exposure Human
Health Risk Levels—MCL Priority (Table GW-1; SFBRWQCB, 2019). The analytical results
indicated that in shallow groundwater, the ESLs for TPH-g, TPH-d, and benzene were exceeded
only in well 917-10, located approximately 75 feet east of the tank excavation(Figure 4). None
of the petroleum constituents analyzed for in August 2021 were detected above the ESL in the
deep groundwater wells (Figure 5).
Final Investigation Work Plan Addendum—UST 817B 3 June 24,2022
