Knowles:
I have reviewed the draft investigation you brought by my office
today. I have some questions and suggestions for inclusion in
your final report.
1. The "Activity Action" entries should be transcribed and
typewritten including an indication of who from your department
performed each activity.
2 . A typewritten summary should be included. This should
include information as to what, if any, hazards the site presents
to the public and/or neighboring residents .
3 . The "List of Chemicals Stored in Warehouse" should indicate
when and by whom and how these determinations were made. Also,
an indication of which of these are still on site and which were
removed by IT Corporation. An obvious gap exists between the
list of chemicals given to the Planning Commission on March 10
and what you found on April 29 .
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. As we
discussed today, you will be checking with Ron Valenotti, .Lee
Hall, and Dr. Khanna regarding a meeting to discuss this case.
You may also want to invite Mike McGrew of the County Counsel ' s
Office.
Very truly yours,
RICHARD W.
