Stirrat &Associates. The work plan describes the installation of ten multi-level landfill gas
monitoring probes. The gas probe design is fine, and the proposed monitoring point distribution of ten
probes around the landfill perimeter is adequate. However staff is concerned that the shallow probe at
GP-6 cannot effectively monitor gas releases because the creek is between the probe and the landfill.
GP-6 should be moved to a convenient location north of the creek.
Staff conditionally concurs with the work plan with the provision that GP-6 is re-located north of the
creek.
If you have any questions, please call me at(916) 255-3814-
ROSS D.
