Weston Solutions, Inc. <br /> Remedial Action Work Plan for the San Joaquin County Human Services Agency Site—Stockton, California <br /> PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br /> ■ Increased monitoring frequency for the point of compliance wells to better assess the <br /> fate of the constituents that exceeded water quality limits. <br /> ■ Installation of additional monitoring wells to assess the fate and transport of the <br /> constituents that exceeded water quality limits. <br /> ■ Injection of treatment amendments to alter the groundwater chemistry to reduce <br /> concentrations of mobilized metals or nitrate/sulfate. <br /> The contingency actions will be implemented following approval of the Central Valley Water <br /> Board. <br /> 6.9 WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> The following types of waste will be generated as part of remedial action implementation: drill <br /> cuttings, purge water generated as part of sampling, decontamination fluids, and disposal <br /> protective clothing and supplies. Soil cuttings and purge/decontamination water will be placed <br /> into 55-gallon drums. The drums will be appropriately labeled and temporarily stored on-site. <br /> Composite soil and groundwater samples will be collected from the drums and analyzed in the <br /> laboratory for waste characterization per the requirements of the disposal facility. Following <br /> characterization, the soil cuttings and purge water will be disposed at a properly licensed and <br /> approved off-site disposal facility. <br /> 6-6 February 2021 <br />
