Site Assessment Work Plan - Addendum
LOPEZ PROPERTY
1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California

1.0. INTRODUCTION

AdvancedGeo, Inc. (AGI) has prepared this Site Assessment Work Plan - Addendum for
the property located at 1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California (site). This work plan
addendum addresses comments from a Joint Execution Team (JET) meeting held on 25
March 2021.

2.0. SCOPE OF WORK

Based on persistent concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons detected in wells MW-10,
MW-11, MW-12, and Comfort Air well MW-8B, AGI proposes to advance three (3) soil
borings to collect grab groundwater samples from the intermediate and deep-water
bearing zone for plume definition (i.e., 60 to 75 feet and from 110 to 120 feet). Soil borings
will be advanced to the southeast, east, and northeast of the source area at the site.
Proposed boring locations are depicted in the attached Figure.

2.1. PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES

Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). In addition, a health and safety plan will be
updated in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for
Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health
Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1985).
Prior to mobilization, the proposed boring locations will be clearly marked, and a utility
clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert.

2.2. SOIL BORINGS AND SAMPLING

AGI proposes to advance three (3) soil borings utilizing a 25-ton truck-mounted CPT drill
rig equipped with 2-inch diameter hollow-stem rods., AGI proposes to advance a total of
three (3) CPT sounding borings for lithological evaluation to a depth of 120 feet below
surface grade (bsg). A total of two (2) additional borings at each proposed CPT location
will then be advanced separately for collection of grab groundwater samples, to
investigate the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon impact to intermediate and deep
groundwater (Figure 2).

The borings will be advanced in the following locations:

 One boring will be advanced onsite, approximately 80 feet northeast of MW-11.
