RODENTS & RODENT DROPPINGS IN THE STORE. EXPIRED FOOD <br />ON THE SHELVES. OVERALL STORE IS VERY DIRTY. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed two rodent droppings on a floor corner in the back storage area. Clean area immediately. <br />Increase pest control measures. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />Site visit for complaint investigation. Met with store manager and discussed complaint. Inspected retail area food shelves. Did <br />not observe rodents or rodent droppings on shelving around food items or floors in the retail area of store. Two rodent <br />droppings were observed in a back corner of the back employee-only store area. No food items are stored in the corner where <br />the two rodent droppings were observed. Manager stated that the facility is serviced monthly for pest control. Did not observe <br />any additional rodent droppings. Store is adequately maintained. No other violation was observed. Inspection report was <br />emailed to facility. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, the signature of the person receiving the inspection report was not captured. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
