There is <br />heavy traffic at time. <br />- Provide adequate lighting at active face. <br />- Ensure that light towers are operational. <br />20860 - Traffic Control <br />Comments: 10 - 15 minutes into opening, there is heavy traffic at the active face and on-ramp. No one is <br />directing the traffic. There appears to be a traffic jam. <br />- Provide adequate traffic control. <br />1. Cover consists of soil and tarps. <br />2. According to the operator, falconer is on site starting today till the end of the month. During inspection, the falconer <br />does not fly his falcon to chase other birds; he uses pyrotechnics to scare other birds. <br />3. According to operator, the tarp-o-matic is not working today. All tarps have to be removed manually. <br />4. The concentration of explosive gas in GP -8R, 9R, and 10BR is 0% by volume. <br />5. All records are up to date. <br />
