L` <br />- Facility Permitted Tonnage: The permitted daily tonnage of 8,668 tons (or 46,080 tons per week) includes all materials <br />that come through the gate (disposed waste and beneficial reuse materials) and the tonnages that are received at the <br />transfer station, composting facility, and at the land spreading operation. <br />- Alternative Daily Cover (ADC) Materials: The facility operator is approved to use ADC materials, as described in <br />condition 17(q) of the governing solid waste facility permit (SWFP). Currently, the operator is using tarps and soil to <br />cover the placed and compacted refuse on the daily work face. <br />Bird Control Measure: The operator use whistlers as bird control measure, during the bulk of the days of operation. <br />here were no birds at the site, during the period of the inspection. From mid-April through October time period, the <br />Aerator uses a Falconer for bird control measure. <br />- Amendments to the Joint Technical Document (JTD): The JTD needs to be amended, to among others, describe the <br />LFG monitoring plan which was approved in 2009, the new mid-April through October bird control measure, and other <br />changes that the LEA may deem necessary. During the period of the inspection, the LEA and operations manager <br />informed CalRecycle staff that a JTD Amendment application package was submitted to the LEA on August 8, 2014 and <br />was accepted by the LEA on August 22, 2014. <br />- The operation at the facility was good at the time of the inspection. No violation and/or area of concern was noted <br />during the inspection. <br />PERMIT REVIEW: <br />The next LEA established five year permit review for the landfill is June 17, 2018. <br />CLOSURE AND POSTCLOSURE MAINTENANCE PLAN (CPCMP): <br />As required by 27 CCR, Section 21865, updates to the CPCMP have been submitted to the LEA with the application for <br />JTD Amendment, which was accepted by the LEA on August 22, 2014. <br />N -WATER CORRECTIVE ACTION COST ESTIMATE: <br />required in 27 CCR, Section 22103, updated corrective action estimate and updates to the CPCMP have been <br />)miffed to the LEA with the application for JTD Amendment, which was accepted by the LEA on August 22, 2014. <br />
