Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105
COMPLAINT ID: C00055168 Site Location: 20801 S WOODWARD AVE
Activity Date
Activity Summary
Recorded by
08/25/2022 Return phone call to Floyd Underhill, updated him on the current situation. Per SAETERN
Floyd, a trailer on the levee may have been dumping their waste into the
waterway.
Phoned Fish and Wildlife 916-358-1312 dispatch obtained phone number for
Warden Lomei, 209-649-7666, who had responded to the facility. Phoned Warden
Lomei and left a message requesting for information when he went out to the site.
Received return phone call from Warden Raul Lomei. Per Warden Lomei, when
he arrived on site, he saw some of the dead fishes but did not noticed any foul
odor. He had observed a few dead fishes and a few live fishes. Per his conclusion,
due to the overgrown hyacinth and low level of water, the fishes are dying due to
low oxygen level and high water temperature. According to Warden Lomei, this is
a normal process. Warden Lomei drove up the street to take a look around the
farm but did not observed any illegal dumping or disposal into the river.
Updated M. Henry & J. Alaniz.
08/29/2022 Entering daily for 8/24/2022 due to previous daily got deleted. SAETERN
Updated J. Alaniz.
08/31/2022 Entered Emergency Response information.
