Complaint Investigation Summary Report#:5105
COMPLAINT ID: CO0054134 Site Location: 593 FISHBACK WY
Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
12/08/2021 Received notification from tenant, Ynez, that the owners are completing a work GOODERHAM
order for the septic system. I reminded tenant that my order to repair or replace
the septic system still stands and the connect to city sewer and water are
available.
12/14/2021 Received another email from Ynez who is a tenant here. She reports the property GOODERHAM
management company is making her pay for the septic tank pumping. So far no
action has been taken by the owner to address the ongoing well or septic tank
issues.
Brought up issues to supervisors.
01/11/2022 Spoke with the tenant Ynez, She reports to me that the owners installing point of GOODERHAM
use filters on the faucets. I advise the owner that the best method to treat ground
water is at the source: the well.
THe tenant is worried about accountability of the owner because no action is being
taken by the owner for the septic or well, and connecting to the city infrastructure.
06/28/2022 Reviewed complaint, and spoke with tenant. No work has been done on septic GOODERHAM
system and no connection to city service is made. Tenant says that the septic tank
is not overflowing now but I asked her to notify me if septic system backs up so I
can document.
09/22/2022 Stopped by the site and met a service technician that works for the property GOODERHAM
management company there. The house was not secured and looked like it had
been occupied by squatters.
I observed both compartments of the septic tank and did not see any roots. The
original 3 leach lines are failing. I observed that the additional leach line is still
accepting water. We ran all the faucets in the house to perform a water test and
after running the water for 20-30 minutes the leach line is still accepting water. I
did mention to the contact that the leach line is working but I believe it is at the end
of its life.
5105.rpt Page 3 of 3
