Medical waste does not include paper towels, <br /> paper products, articles containing nonfluid blood and other medical solid <br /> waste products commonly found in the facilities of medical waste <br /> generators]. <br /> 1101 AThis facility is a holder of a limited quantity hauling exemption. <br /> 1101.5Medical waste generated is removed by a registered hazardous waste <br /> hauler service, Stericycle. <br /> 1101.6Delta Blood Bank is not a medical waste treatment facility. <br /> 1102.OThis section defines how medical waste is segregated, contained, and labeled at <br /> this facility. <br /> 1102.1 Sharps devices, such as lancets or needles, are placed into approved sharps <br /> containers immediately after use.
