Commerce
Stockton, Ca 95202
Re: Medical Waste Inspection Report dated 11/10/97
Linda,
I am faxing you the code section I believe you were questioning, Health and Safety Code Section 118030
(a)(1). Also, I spoke with Elisa Garin of the State Department of Health Services this morning about that
very issue of whether you need another Limited Quantity Hauling Exemption or whether you should have
it hauled by a hazardous waste hauler directly from your March Lane facility. Elisa checked with her
supervisor, Vern Reichert, and then reported to me that another Limited Quantity Hauling Exemption
would not be an option. This means that your only option is to have it hauled directly from that March
Lane facility. If you would like to confirm this you may reach Elisa at (916) 327-6064. If you have any
questions for me, please call me at 468-3451.
Thank you,
Kasey Foley
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
