Laboratory Wastes (enclosure, "Procedure for Proper Disposal of <br />Contaminated Materials"). <br />2. Definition of Infectious Waste (enclosure, "Infectious Waste <br />Disposal", as approved by Lodi Memorial Hospital Infection Control <br />Committee). <br />3. Disposal of infectious sharps (enclosure, B/D "Red Containers" & <br />"Sharpsgard 2000 TM" Disposal Needles/Syringe & Sharps). <br />4. Lodi Memorial uses "Winfield" polyethylene infectious red bags for <br />disposal of infectious waste (enclosure "Winfield"). <br />5. All trash from isolation rooms are double bagged and taken to <br />special areas for disposal of infectious trash. <br />6. Lodi Memorial Hospital has an "Infectious Waste Disposal Agreement" <br />with W.D. Bingham, Inc., a California Corporation ("Bingham"). <br />They pick up special marked waste containers in a locked area <br />outside the hospital two (2) times a week, Tuesday and Friday. <br />1. Discarded in brown plastic bags and picked up by housekeeping. <br />2.
