All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closurs pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs. <br />OBSERVATIONS: Capacity (# of bathers is lacking) and pool hours are lacking on sign. Provide today. Ok, corrected. <br />"Keep Closed" and diarrhea signs are fading. Provide visible signs within one week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br />#5 Restrooms and Showers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Soap and paper towels are lacking ar restroom. Provide today. Ok, corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean: showers, toilets,. dressing <br />facilities, drinking fountains, diaper -changing stations, floors, walls, partitions, doors, and lockers. Showers (except outside) shall be <br />provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br />permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br />duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. ( CCR 65535, 6555 1) Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br />Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110'F (CBC 31168) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool light does not turn on, however G F I is functional. Provide operative pool light within one week. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumine lion of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4 -inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool chemical readings were not documented when pool service serviced pool last. Document pool <br />chemical readings. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
