C <br />St. Joseph's Medical Center <br />Policies and Procedures <br />308.0 CONFIDENTIAL WASTE HANDLING <br />308.1 POLICY <br />11 <br />Confidential paper waste will be stored, transported and disposed of in a manner <br />that minimizes the possibility of breach of confidentiality. <br />308.2 PROCEDURES <br />A. Confidential paper should be place din a secured confidential bins located <br />throughout the facility.. <br />B. All recycling bins shall remain locked.. <br />C. Contract vendor will pick up the full recycle bins on a routine basis. They <br />will be transported to an off-site facility, shredded and recycled. <br />D.
