Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Provide written notification to ust@s1gov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments), <br /> a. Overfill prevention verification: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95%tank volume shut <br /> off. Verification of flapper functionality. Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and <br /> calculations are available for review at the time of inspection. <br /> b. Verification that ball float(s), if installed, do not interfere with the installed flapper valve. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 (T2) tank prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br /> current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued <br /> to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board <br /> b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC) <br /> c. Possesses a valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced <br /> 1868 E.
