Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Hi Carol,
RAH Environmental, Inc. (RAH) performed excavation of diesel, motor oil, and lead impacted soil on 3/8/22 at
the Highway 99 near Acampo, CA. Impacted soil was loaded into two cubic yard fiber boxes, transported ,and
disposed of as Non-RCRA Hazardous Waste Solid to US Ecology, Beatty, NV. See attached copy of the uniform
hazardous waste manifest delivered to US Ecology's Dixon transfer facility. A final signed off copy of this
manifest will be provided after the boxes are delivered to their Beatty, NV TSDF.
The confirmation soil sample, CONE-1, was collected from the bottom of the excavation after examining the
same soil with a PID. The PID showed negligible results of 0-3 ppm as xylene. See attached lab report of the
confirmation sample tested by California Laboratory Service of Rancho Cordova, CA.
Please let me know if San Joaquin County Dept. of Env. Health will require additional soil excavation at the
site. RAH suggests that the remaining soil, if excavated, be profiled, manifested, transported and disposed of
at a permitted Class II landfill.
Thank you,
Raymond A.
