Date: 06/25/2023 <br />Manufacturer training: Xerxers, 08/25/24 <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />On site for the installation of three new USTs <br />-20,000 gallon Xerxes double-walled fiberglass tank <br />-15,000 gallon Xerxes double-walled fiberglass tank <br />-12,000 gallon Xerxes double-walled fiberglass tank <br />-Verified UL labeling on all tanks. <br />-Inspected tanks for brine leaks. No leaks observed on the tanks. <br />-Inside of tanks was inspected by the contractor on site and stated to be clean and brine-free. <br />-Verified the use of the manufacturer installation checklist at the time of inspection. <br />-Verified presence of deadmen and use of anchor straps. <br />-Verified use of proper pea gravel for backfilling. <br />-Brine levels 12K tank 51/4 inches, 15K tank 9inches. 20K tank was still pending. <br />- Did not witness 20.000gallon tank set and initial backfilling with pea gravel <br />- Did not witness additional corrosion protection on all metal anchor components.-Primary Tank test according to manufacturer <br />specification to be scheduled. <br />**Additional inspections are required. Refer to the approval letter dated August 1, 2022 for a list of inspections needed. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of having them <br />sign. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
