Garcia-Mejia, Gabriela [EHD]
From: Luz Gomez <ramirezbodyshop1200@gmail.com>
Sent: Thursday, March 9, 2023 1:06 PM
To: Garcia-Mejia, Gabriela [EHD]
Subject: Re: Return to Compliance
Attachments: Recei pt_2023-03-09_130307.pdf
Hello Gabriela,
With regards to violation#102; "2 5-gallon containers labeled SLAM and that contained material inside [used motor oil]"
were taken to "CleanEarth" 7850 R.A. Bridgeford St Stockton Ca 95206, to be recycled as used motor oil on March 3,
2023. (See attachment for receipt dated 3/3/23)
The various metal acetone containers which still contained liquid were emptied into a single container and taken to
"CleanEarth" 7850 R.A. Bridgeford St Stockton Ca 95206 be disposed of as hazardous waste. The containers themselves
were disposed of as municipal waste. (Please refer to "CleanEarth" receipt dated 2/1/23 under waste description,
"acetone, reducer and paint" and "paint mix waste".)
With regards to violation#401 the 4 quart containers (used motor oil)were indeed recycled at the North County
Recycling Center. (See attachment dated 2/6/23)
My statement regarding violation 601, 1 meant to refer only to the remainder of the hazardous waste located at our
facility e.g. dried paint, antifreeze and oil, old bando waste, old house paint, and dusty filters. (See attachment dated
2/1/23)
Best Regards,
Luz Gomez
Pedro Gomez
On Thu, Mar 9, 2023 at 11:52 AM Garcia-Mejia, Gabriela [EHD] <ggarcia-melia@slgov.org>wrote:
Hello Pedro,
I reviewed the return to compliance documentation I received on on 2/23/23.
