The written procedure for neutralization of lab wastes solutions containing nitric and <br /> hydrochloric acids has been updated to reference a procedure published by the National <br /> Research Council (NRC) for neutralization of acids and bases and area attached to this <br /> letter. <br /> Violation for Item #601 — Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a <br /> permit or authorization. <br /> This violation has been corrected and supporting documents are included. <br /> The two 55-gallon drums containing used oil with accumulation start dates that were <br /> over 90 days were collected for recycling on 9/20/2022. The receipt for this collection is <br /> attached. <br /> For the two red roll-off bins with accumulation start dates over 90 days, Simplot has <br /> been working with the Waste Management facility in Kettleman City, CA for waste profile <br /> acceptance.
