Sample
No.
Suspect Asbestos Material Asbestos Content
Percent by Weight
0503.22 Debris-Friable-Gray
Track 01-Pit 2
2% Amosite
10% Chrysotile
12% Crocidolite
0503.23 Debris-Friable-Gray
Track 01-Pit 3
2% Amosite
8% Chrysotile
5% Crocidolite
0503.24 Debris-Friable-Gray
Track 01-Pit 3
2% Amosite
8% Chrysotile
6% Crocidolite
0503.25 Cementitious Debris-Non-Friable-White
Track 01-Pit 3
15% Chrysotile
12% Crocidolite
CONCLUSIONS
Asbestos is present in the materials evaluated. The majority of the materials were determined to
be non-friable. Friable materials tested and found to be asbestos include cloth material and the
debris found in Pits two and three. Note, the associated crushed debris of samples collected and
identified as non-friable asbestos-containing should be considered friable.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Implement an abatement plan to address to asbestos materials identified in this report in
accordance with the Waste Discharge/Spill Response Notice to Abate, dated March 17, 2022,
issued by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
Generally,
Hire a California Registered Asbestos Abatement Contractor to cleanup asbestos containing
materials, segregate (friable/non friable) and dispose of under manifest.
Employ a California Certified Asbestos Consultant to perform perimeter air monitoring during
the cleanup activities and visual inspections upon the completion of work.
Specifically,
Location 1 — Northeast Track (north to south) — SEI reference Track 2. This area contains
asbestos debris on the surface to be cleaned up. Given the limitations outlined in this report, SEI
recommends the removal of all visible surface asbestos debris.
Location 2 — West Track (east to west) — SEI reference Track 1. This area contains asbestos
debris on and sub surface. SEI recommends the removal of all visible surface asbestos debris and
developing a plan to mitigate the migration of sub surface asbestos.
Asbestos Report
1217 Stoakes Ave. Stockton, CA 95215

I 07.22asb
pg. 7
