Soil has been impacted but no waterways and has not left the property. Called reporting party and spoke with Ralph <br />Roberts, PG&E Environmental Field Specialist who said that the hydraulic oil released as a result from a hose rupture in the <br />crane. The oil got on the equipment and was contained into a pan but did impact the ground. Approximately 15-gallons <br />released onto the ground and approximately 5-gallons was caught in the pan and other absorbent materials. <br />EHD arrived on site and the clean-up is expected to be completed tomorrow morning. The hose replacement part is on the <br />way and clean-up will be conducted after the hose has been replaced and the crane is able to be moved. The waste <br />generated will be non-RCRA hazardous waste. <br />Please be advised that the disposal of any waste [HSC 5411] or disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is <br />prohibited when the disposal is at a facility that is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC <br />25189.5(a).].
