Clean up was not conducted <br />because it occurred at an irrigation ditch and all the mineral oil that was released <br />got washed away as it was raining. No samples have been taken at this time, but <br />the transformer will be sampled latter for PCBs. Alex stated that the area is muddy <br />and there is no way I can get to the spill location. I talk with lead Senior John <br />Alaniz and said we need to take a hard look at that spill no need to go there now. <br />01/11/2023 -Generated prop 65 WOLDEAREGAY <br />-Prepared a notice to abate and emailed it to Alex Steete (R2Sv@pge.com) <br />01/11/2023 Phoned Alex Steele of PG&E, 209-337-8902. Who stated the area is clear and the SAETERN <br />transformer poles were repair the night before. <br />Arrived on site. could not obtain access to the site. There was a metal wire gate in <br />place. <br />Received phone call from Alex Steele, 209-337-8902. Per Alex, two transformer <br />pole went down but only one was impacted and released approximately 8 gallons <br />of mineral oil. The spill site was in the back of the vineyard next to a ditch and <br />there was a muddy road. Due to all the rain, it may be difficult to access the back <br />of the vineyard. <br />Update J. Alaniz. <br />01/12/2023 -Emailed the notice to abate to Alex Steete (R2Sv@pge.com) WOLDEAREGAY <br />01/17/2023 Generated photolog, emergency response record and pacel viewer. SAETERN <br />02/09/2023 Phoned Alex Steele, 209-337-8902, received analytical results. Sample are NON SAETERN <br />Detect for PCB. Per Alex, they have not been out to the site since the strom <br />washed away the mineral oil that went into the irrigation ditch. According to Alex, <br />he made the call to Cal OES because it went into the water and there was nothing <br />to clean-up due to the spill was washed away in the irrigation ditch during the <br />storm. <br />5105.rpt Page 1 of 2
