Praper aftercare is essential for healing, <br /> preventing infection, and preserving the quality of your tattoo. <br /> Immediate Aftercare (First 3-5 Days) <br /> 1. Wash Your Hands <br /> Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo. <br /> 2. Gently Clean the Tattoo <br /> Using a mild antibacterial. tragrance-free soap. gently wash your tattoo in <br /> circular motions for 313-60 seconds. <br /> 3. Rinse Thoroughly <br /> Rinse with cool to lukewarm water until all soap residue is removed. <br /> 4. Air Dry <br /> Allow your tattoo to air dry for 15-20 minutes. <br /> Avoid rubbing with towels. If necessary, gently pat dry using a clean paper <br /> towel. <br /> 5. Apply Witch Hazel <br /> Once fully air dried, appply a light layer of witch hazel using clean hands or a <br /> clean paper towel. Allow to fully dry. <br /> 6. Apply Neosporin <br /> Apply a very thin layer of Neosporin over the tattooed area. <br /> Your tattoo should appear lightly moisturized — not greasy or shiny. <br /> 7. Remove Excess <br /> Gently dab away any excess ointment with a clean paper towel, <br /> 8. Leave Uncovered <br /> Allow the tattoo to breathe. Do not re-bandage unless instructed by your artist. <br /> Repeat Care <br /> Repeat 2-3 times daily for 3-5 days or until the skin is no longer open or <br /> weeping. <br /> Peeling &Moisturizing Phase (Days 4-1 4) <br /> ' Flaking or peeling may begin around Day 4-5' This is normal and part of healing <br /> ' Do not pick, scratch, or peel <br /> • Once skin is no longer open, switch to a fragrance-free lotion <br /> • Apply 2-3 times daily to prevent dryness <br /> Keeping your tattoo moisturized and protected from the sun helps maintain <br /> color and longevity. <br />
