Abated By:

.410vQ i-or

Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
05/31/2022 Received a CalEPA complaint that a resident at 505 Spring River Circle, Stockton, NSO
has been painting cars in his garage and pouring paint down the sewer drain in
front of the house. When I arrived on site I knock at the door the resident came
out and I presented myself and explained the purpose of my visit. The resident
said is not him and he knows nothing about painting cars and added that there is
another house a 505 Tule Spring around the corner I should check over there. I
left and went to 505 Tule Spring St and saw two cars were in the garage and a
male person about 5feet 8 inches tall cleaning one of the cars. I asked for the
resident and Abraham Lara came out I introduced myself and explained the
purpose of my visit. I then discovered that it was a wrong address I initially went
to the 505 Spring River Circle and the correct address was 505 Tule Spring St,
Stockton.
I met with Abraham Lara (209 244-8685) son to homeowner and two cars were in
the drive way a green Toyota Van and a pink old small car(not Looking drivable).
When I explained the purpose of my visit to Abraham I ask permission to take
photos and permission was granted.
Abraham stated that he was merely waxing his car not painting the car or cars,
what he has been doing for the past week was painting his father's house.
Observed a 5 gallon mold and Mildrew proof water proofing paint at the garage,
observed fresh painting walls inside and outside, painting rolling brushes, three
feet ladder and other small containers of house hold paints and tubes. Checked
the storm drain, sewer and drive way no stains of paint.
When I asked Abraham how he dispose of waste paints or water he said the
waste company come and carry it. I e-mailed Abraham (larabamam0@gmail.com)
tips on how to dispose of house hold hazardous waste and he acknowledge
receipt in my presence before I left the site. I let Abraham know that I may call
him again for more information.
06/10/2022 Called 209 244 8685 and talked to Abraham to get more information on what they NSO
have been doing with water used to risen out brushes ,rollers and the used
brushes and rollers. Abraham stated that they let the used brushes and rollers get
dry and he puts them in a bag and they go into the trash can. For water used to
risen brushes and rollers they haven't dispose anything, containers are at home.
The painting has even been suspended because his Dad has been sick and
hospitalized. I caution him not to dump latex or oil based paint into the trash,
sewer or storm drain.
06/22/2022 Update Street address from Spring River Circle to Tule Spring St. NSO
5105. rpt Page 1 of 2
