Ancon Services responded to the spill and determined a USA dig notification was needed for the removal <br />of the contaminated soil. The diesel spill was covered with visqueen plastic and weighted down with packaged absorbent <br />bags and is pending excavation scheduling. Please be aware that all impacted soil has to be excavated and absorbent bags. <br />disposed of under the appropriate waste manifesting procedure [HSC 25160 (b)(3)]. The disposal of any hazardous waste, <br />or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is at a facility which is not permitted or authorized for hazardous <br />waste disposal. [HSC 25189.5 (a).] Notify EHD (48-hours) in advance of any cleanup activities.
