COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br /> 4:15 pm <br /> 3:47 pm <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: GUATEMALA BAKERY Date: 04/19/2023 <br />Address: 2342 E MAIN ST, STOCKTON <br />Owner/Operator: Telephone: <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: COYXVUYIY <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />AN UNPERMITTED VENDOR IS DEEP-FRYING CHICKEN IN A FOOD CART OUTSIDE OF GUATEMALA BAKERY. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint investigation at Guatemala Bakery. Observed the vendor and food cart on the side parking lot. Spoke to <br />Guatemala Bakery operator who was on site. Discussed complaint. Advised that it is illegal to sell food without a health permit <br />and food sales need to stop until operator obtains a permit for the food cart. Provided a California Health and Safety Code, <br />Section 114381 hand-out for illegal food sales to the public and information on obtaining permit. Advised if a second complaint <br />is received for illegal food sales, a second complaint investigation will be carried out and charged at the currently hourly rate of <br />$156/hour. If illegal food sales occur after 5 PM or on the weekends, the complaint investigation will be charged the minimum <br />3-hour fee of $468. Inspection report was mailed to the facility. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
