The enclosed comments by Department Geologist Rich McJunkin <br />must be incorporated into and become part of the approved <br />workplan; <br />2. There shall be no deviation from the approved workplan <br />without explicit written approval from the Department; and <br />3. The Department must be provided a proposed construction <br />schedule and notified by telephone two days prior to all <br />well construction. <br />This workplan is Phase I of a 2 Phase closure process. The <br />purpose of a 2 Phase closure is to allow a Phase I <br />hydrogeological characterization before a final Closure Plan is <br />approved. The information gathered from the investigation should <br />be used to draft a comprehensive closure plan that follows <br />California Administrative Code, Title 22 and 40 CFR 264 and <br />document incorporating all needed information and data. The <br />Department should receive this comprehensive Closure Plan by <br />April 10, 1987. <br />�yvrar, <br />
