Box 6336 <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL,SAN JOA QUIN COUNTY(Case No. 2209) <br /> We have reviewed the Construction Quality Assurance Report(CQA) dated October 1997 prepared by <br /> CH2M Hill for the D97 landfill construction. The report documents the construction of 4.5 acres of <br /> composite liner system in the unit. The base liner consists of a compacted clay liner, geomembrane and <br /> granular drainage blanket. The side wall liner overlies the older Class III D89 unit. The side wall liner <br /> consists of a geosynthetic clay liner, geomembrane and drainage net. <br /> The report describes that the D97 unit was built in compliance with the facility's WDRs, Title 27 <br /> (formerly Chapter 15) and Subtitle D requirements.
