Called Elianna and provided clarification. PCB are unknown. <br />discussed NTA contents. Provided a text update to M. Nissim (program <br />coordinator). Reviewed PCB sampling code section <br />08/10/2021 Received an ER notification for a mineral oil spill in front of 1449 French Camp <br />Turnpike Stockton ca. Called Alex Steel 2093378902, the source of information to <br />discuss the spill. A vehicle collided with a utility pole which has transformers <br />containing mineral oil. The PCB contents of the mineral oil was unknown, and <br />sampled for testing. No storm drains affected. Boom was placed to contain spill, <br />and absorbent was placed to soak up oil. Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo, <br />and Elianna Florido. Called Alex S. to ask more questions. The status of the <br />vehicle which struck the pole was unknown. Discussed update with Elena Manzo, <br />and Elianna Florido. <br />Corrected narrative 12/29/21 <br />ERNEST <br />08/10/2021 5:00pm - 7:30pm: Prepared for inspection. Left EHD for site. Arrived on-site and FLORIDO <br />witnessed spill location. Stockton Police were on-site. PG&E personnel were <br />on-site fixing the downed power lines. The spill appeared to have been cleaned up <br />with absorbent. The spill appeared to only have impacted the gutter and street <br />asphalt. No drains were observed to be impacted. Called and spoke to Dave <br />Larsen of PG&E, who states he finished cleaning up the spill, generated one <br />55-gallon drum of absorbent and boom, will be transporting the waste to the PG&E <br />facility at 4040 West Lane in Stockton, and will be taking a sample of the <br />transformer oil to the lab for PCB analysis. Dave states the transformer did not <br />contain a blue-sticker, which normally indicates that the transformer oil does not <br />contain PCBs. Took photos. Spill clean-up is complete. Discussed complaint with <br />Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS. Issued Notice To Abate to Alex Steele, PG&E. <br />Documented narrative. Left site for home.
