CAR HIT A POLE AROUND 2:00 PM <br />OBSERVATIONS: <br />Arrived on-site and witnessed spill location. The spill appeared to have been cleaned up with absorbent. The spill appeared <br />to only have impacted the gutter and street asphalt. No drains were observed to be impacted. Called and spoke to Dave <br />Larsen of PG&E, who states he finished cleaning up the spill, generated one 55-gallon drum of absorbent and boom, will be <br />transporting the waste to the PG&E facility at 4040 West Lane in Stockton, and will be taking a sample of the transformer oil <br />to the lab for PCB analysis. Dave states the transformer did not contain a blue-sticker, which normally indicates that the <br />transformer oil does not contain PCBs. <br />Please be advised that the disposal of any waste [HSC 5411] or disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is <br />prohibited when the disposal is at a facility which is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC <br />25189.5(a).]. Please be aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under appropriate hazardous waste manifesting <br />procedure [HSC 25160 (b)(3)]. <br />Provide all hazardous waste determinations, sample analytical results, and waste/hazardous waste disposal records to the <br />EHD for all clean up debris associated with this clean up, within 30 days.
