Provide approve flooring at bar <br /> that is smooth and durable such tile or concrete. Provide approved coving at kitchen and bar that has 3/8 in. minimum cove <br /> radius and extends at least 4 in. up the wall, such as cove tile, slim foot tile, and Schluter cove base with tile. Replace <br /> flooring and coving prior to operating. Email flooring and coving specs to dafonskaia@sjgov.org prior to installing. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers.
