Hwy 99, Stockton
Hi James,
I have completed the review of the underground storage tank installation application for 4850 S. Hwy 99, Stockton
(SR0085819). The following items are needed.
1. Provide current contractor's training certifications for installation of all proposed UST equipment/components.
2. The cut sheet for the 7,500/7,500 gallon split tank only shows two tank collars, the same number as the single
compartment 15,000 gallon tank. To clarify, the turbine and spill containers will be inside the same sump on the
diesel and 91 tank, but inside separate sumps on the 87 tank? This is correct.
3. Drawings do not include a vent sump. The comments indicate updated pages C1, S1, and F1, but these were not
included in the attachments. Added, revised plans attached.
4. Page T4 includes a cut sheet for a 12,000 gallon tank. No mention of a 12,000 gallon tank is made in the rest of
the submittal. 12k Tank is an AST
5. Vacuum zones on page M1 indicate there will be separate diesel and 91 turbine and fill sumps. This is not
consistent with the cut sheet (page T2) and page T3. Corrected the number of sumps on M1 to reflect tanks.
6. Vacuum zones on page M1 indicate vacuum being drawn from the both the diesel and 91 vent lines using the
tank from different points. This would cause vacuum to be drawn in two different directions possibly interfering
with the ability of the liquid sensor to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. Corrected Drawing. Diesel and
Premium Vent lines Monitored individually.
