San Joaquin County Well Standards <br /> section 9-9.2.1* states "To determine quality of water produced by a new water well, it shall be sampled <br /> by the EHD for bacteriological and chemical analysis after development, the installation of the well pump, <br /> and disinfection." The cost of sampling was included with the well permit issuance. <br /> We have sampled your new well and have received your results. Your water sample was analyzed by <br /> FGL Stockton Laboratory, a state certified lab. <br /> The well water results have FAILED the General Mineral Nitrate Nitrogen and Nitrate as NO3 established <br /> criteria. <br /> Contaminant Result MCL** <br /> Nitrate Nitrogen 12.6 m /L 10 m /L <br /> Nitrate as NO3 56.0 m /L 45 m /L <br /> The well water PASSED the criteria for the other analyses: bacteriological (Coliform/E-Coli) and Arsenic. <br /> A copy of the full analytical results can be located on our website www.sigov.org/ehd following the Public <br /> Records link, online EHD Program Records, Browse EHD Program Records by Address, EHD Program <br /> Facility Records by Street Name.
