All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is above 10 ppm. Adjust to 2 ppm to 10 ppm. This was corrected on site. Free chlorine <br />was 9.2 ppm after correction. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: A leak was observed from the pool pump. The part is on order. Repair pump so that it is in good <br />working order. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards.
