MANZO <br />Assisted with spill response actions. 9:47 AM- called Paul to follow up on the spill <br />clean up status. 4:46 pm, called Paul to discuss clean up. Spill clean up was <br />completed by Caltrans. <br />12/31/2021 Received Cal OES Control spill report #21-7516 at 2.02.am. A big rig overturned <br /> <br />NSO <br />due to the driver being intoxicated, approximately 100 gallons of diesel released <br />from the fuel tank onto to the asphalt. The discharge was from the saddle tank on <br />tractor trailer that punctured during a multi vehicle accident at 00.25am no <br />waterways impacted. Incident occurred on 1-5 south bound north of 8 mile. <br />Arrived on site at 3.25am,met CHP and Cal Trans present. Observed spill area <br />approximately 10 by 30 feet, and approximately 200 feet trail. observed Cal Trans <br />cleaning up the impacted area (Asphalt). Absorbent pads and sand were applied <br />onto the asphalt and swept. Then the asphalt were cleaned with an oil eater, <br />scrubbed, and then pressure washed, the rinseate was pumped into Cal Trans <br />truck. Per Juan Armendendarez (Cal trans HazMat Manager) all materials <br />generated from the clean up operations will be taken to Cal Trans yard and ANCO <br />Services INC-(Clean up company), clean up company for the responsible party <br />(Schneider National- 3101 South Packerland Drive, Green Bay, WI 54313) will <br />collect the waste from Cal Trans for proper disposal. <br />01/03/2022 E mailed OIR to Chris Lorbeer ( Responsible party) erts@ertsonline.com. NSO <br />01/10/2022 Received e mail notification 01/07/20022 form juan.armendarez@dot.ca.gov NSO <br />letting me know that a total of 20 fifty-five gallon drums (1100gallons) waste was <br />generated from clean up operation. Ancon Services took a sample to be profiled <br />and will be back to haul away all the drums for disposal sometime next week. <br />04/14/2022 Received on 04/05/2022 an e mailed from ERTS Adam D. Touchton, Project <br /> NSO <br />Manager to send invoice to SBDS LOGISTICS INC, 2734 NORTH COVE DR, <br />SACRAMENTO, CA 95833.
