All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: Paper towel were lacking at the restroom hand sink. Provide wall-mounted paper towel dispenser for <br />proper hand washing. Correct within three days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #32 Food Properly Labeled and Honestly Presented <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed prepackaged sweet bread and other prepackaged food items at the front of market without <br />source information. Ensure prepackaged food items are either properly labeled or have documentation present at the point <br />of sale. Provide labels or post source information for each prepackaged product. Correct within five days. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Observed bulk beans available for consumer self-service in front of the front cashier counter that was not prominently <br />labeled with the manufacturer’s or processor’s label that was provided with the food. Provide a card or sign in plain view <br />beside of on the bulk beans. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br />food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. Food facilities <br />with 19 or more chains in the state shall disclose nutritional information. (114087, 114089, 114089.1(a, b), 114090, 114093.1, 114094) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a missing tile at the restroom entrance. Replace tile within 14 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
