One of his open complaints is for a 40-gallon
diesel release that occurred on southbound 1-5 on 2/2/2022. Clean up occurred on 3/11/2022 generating approximately
15 cubic yards of waste soil. An unsigned non-hazardous waste manifest to Forward Landfill (Republic Services
document number 1992634). Per notes from inspector on site during clean-up, the soil was already analyzed as non-
hazardous. Soil sample results and a signed copy of the manifest showing Forward Landfill received the waste has not
been received. Please submit both sample results and signed copy of the manifest by Forward Landfill at your earliest
convenience to close out this open complaint.
Thank you!
All the Best,
Carol Presto
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Email: cpresto@sjgov.org I Direct: (209) 616-3061 I Main: (209) 468-3420
https://www.sjgov.org/department/envhealth/
*NOTE* I will be out of office every other Friday:
June 9, 23 I July 7, 21
COMING SOON - July 17, 2023
The County will launch Accela, a new web-based permitting application.
