In addition to providing water to lands in the <br /> surrounding area:it also provides other uses that we.consider in-our operations as Woodbridge irrigation <br /> District.Therefore,we.ask.that certain conditions be imposed:on proposed developments adjacent to our <br /> facilities. <br /> According to the Site Plan as provided,we have pla.ced.a"Red Cloud"around the Woodbridge Irrigation <br /> District Canal and provided the historical name:of it for reference.We also seethe Engineer has respected <br /> our right-of<w.ay and depicts it as a,55-foot:wide easement.Typically,we would like to see a 100-foot setback <br /> from our facilities,but in this:case,we see that is not possible.However,given the continuing:evolution of <br /> our industry we require some additional easement area along the north and west side of our canal in order <br /> to provide an adequate buffer that can be fenced and provide a minimum of 10 feet from the landward toe <br /> of our slope outward including any canal improvements,Therefore,we ate respectively requesting the <br /> following conditions of approval be placed on the Administrative/Conditional Use Permit: <br /> 1) The Applicant.and/or Owners;Developers,Successors' in Interest(ODS)shall provide.a more detailed <br /> Site Plan to WID:prior to submittal for construction permit(s)showing existing topographical <br /> information, includng:elevations of'the existing canal and relationship to the property boundary, <br /> Hotel::&parking lot layout and exisCingeaseme.nt for consideration by.WID as to the final easement <br /> requirements. <br />
