April 9,2023
RESPONCES to Email of April 7,2023
1. Clarify which overfill model will be used and provide updated plans and cut sheets. The
application page 7 of 8, section G the model number provided was 71 SO 410CBT. On the parts
list, 71 SO-41OCT,was listed as the product number. The cut sheets provided are for 71 SO-
410CB and 71 SO-410. The correct is 71 SO-410CB. Changed all references.
2. Clarify which annular sensors will be used. And provide updated plans. On page 8 of 8 section I
of the application, the model number for the interstitial space of each secondarily-contained tank
is listed as 304. This is not a tank annular sensor. It is 303,you have the cut sheet from previous
submittal. Revised page
3. Clarify the UDC model number. Page 8 of 8 section J,does not match the part list. Revised
4. Submit cut sheet for the BRAVO F-series penetrations. SEE ATTACHED
5. Update page FS1.0"Additionally,under"California Fire Code Notes"the county listed is for
Sacramento County not San Joaquin County. Please make sure it is corrected. REVISED
6. Update the plans to include accurate deadman information. Page FS2.0,the deadmen are listed as
20 in x 8 in x 18 ft. According to the Xerxes tank anchoring system,it is 18 in x 9 in x 18 ft
(WxHxL). FS6.0#18: the length of the deadmen are incorrect. Please refer to the Xerxes tank
anchoring system. Please clarify the type of deadmen and size used on page FS6.0. A two tank
deadmen is not consistent with the buoyancy calculation and Xerxes tank cut-sheet. REVSIED
DETAILS
7. Update the plans to show proper tank, piping, and sumps orientation. The orientation does not
match on FS7.0,FS3.0,FSL1, and FS 1.2. Multiple orientations are shown.Revised FS1.1,FS1.2
to match others
8. Please clarify why the plans appear to show eletrical wires attached to the bottom of multiple spill
containers. REMOVED,NOT REQUIRED
9. Update the plans to include test ports in the STP and fill sumps. ALL SUMPS HAVE TEST
PORTS?
10. Review and update the buoyancy calculation to contain accurate information.
1. 2 deadman are listed, cut sheets indicate 4,the weight of the deadmen does not match the
calculation on Xerxes tank anchoring system sheet. REVISED
2. Tank displaced water volume does not account for the tank secondary containment and
sumps SEE"OTHER"IN CALCS
3. Calculation does not account for the ribs on the tanks.RIBS ARE PART OF
SECONDARY COTAINMENT
4. Length of the tank is inconsistent on the 20k gallon tank buoyancy calculation.
REVISED
5. Weight of the tank does not match the Xerxes tank cutsheet on the 20k gal Ion tank
buoyancy calculation. REVISED
6. 10k x 10k gallon tank buoyancy calculation: The deadmen information does not match
the cutsheet.
